A cup of coffee in the morning is mandatory for most of us, but sometimes, due to health issues, we have to give it up. Still, replacing coffee with some of the products presented bellow has the same results as drinking the real deal.
Even so, nutrition specialists are quick to assure us, there are only benefits when replacing coffee with other products that are rich in vitamins and low on caffeine.
- Apples are a great source of anti-oxidants and are also great for brain cells. You know the quote “an apple a day keeps the doctor away’’? Well, it is indeed the pure truth, because it is doctors that claim apples help face stress better and improve physical strength. Other vegetables similar to apples are tomatoes, spinach and kale.
- Eggs are among the products in the world due to their high levels of proteins and vitamin B. Another element that eggs deliver, is responsible for energy boosts, so having an egg in the morning is going to fill you up with energy for the entire day.
- Rich in magnesium, nuts are delicious and keep hunger away. Nuts make a great snack, throughout the day.
- Dark chocolate. It comes as no wonder dark chocolate entered the list. It is a great energy boost due to the cacao and caffeine mix that’s a real energy booster.
- You could not be doing a greater favor to your body than drinking the recommended amount of water. Water is good for all organs, helping them function. Most of the times when you are feeling tired and sleepy, it can be caused by dehydration, so take a few sips of water.
- Spinach and red meat. These two products go so well together because one is the prime source of iron and the other one makes sure the body can feed on it.
Try and include all of the above mentioned in your daily meals and see for yourself how you will no longer need a few cups of coffee to go through the day!
